Following the UK Government’s Announcement on Friday 20th March 2020, the Management Committee at WOODLAND ROAD SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB will understandably and respectfully but, with heavy heart, close its doors until Guidance is received that we are able to resume operating the business.

About Us

The Woodland Road Sports and Social Club was formed in 1966 as a social hub for the sporting clubs residing in the Woodland Road Centre, including bowls, cricket, rugby, football and angling.

The Club is independently run by a management committee which has been successfully running the Club since 1966, when the club was formed. The year 2016 denoteD a milestone in the Clubs long history and celebrated our 50th anniversary and we look forward to the next 50 years and to have the support of the community that we have had in the past. We welcome new members, as without their support the Club would not exist.

To this day, it remains a successful and well-loved club that serves its members and the local community.
